  3k FreeCell
Sun 16th June 2013
A new game is now available for your Oric: A 3 kilobytes version of FreeCell.

FreeCell is a solitaire type card game, mostly known thanks to beeing one of the games installed by default in Microsoft Windows.

This Oric version of the game is compatible with the Windows version: If you type in the same game number, you will get the same card shuffling in both version.

Since the Oric does not come with a mouse, this version is played with the keyboard: Use the arrow keys to select the cards and then press Return to validate the operation.

If you made a mistake you can use the U and R keys to Undo or Redo your moves.

The game was present in the gamedev competition a the @party this week end, and can now be downloaded on pouet.net.

Have fun :)

Buggy Boy Demo

2004 - Mickaël Pointier

“Nice design, nice demo, nice music.”

“Absolutely fantastic!!!! Defence Force - you just blow me away. With each demo/intro you stretch the boundaries in showing what an Oric can really do. My favourite section is the one with the scrolling horizontal lines going up, with the scrolling text going right to left (3rd across and 3rd down of the pics above.) The sound effects were very clever for the test card starting and ending, as the loading music was excellent.”
